RETIREMENT FUND HEALTH AUTOMATION SYSTEM

Retirement Fund Health Automation software is software through which the prescriptions received from the Retirement Fund members are transferred to the computer media by the pharmacies contracted with the Retirement Fund and other organizations and the prescriptions are transferred to the servers of the Retirement Fund. The pharmacies perform these operations by using this software and by connecting the servers of the Retirement Fund in 7 different regions of Turkey with the help of the modems they possess.

Following tasks have been performed within the scope of this project:

Modem Control Software Development: modem control software working in AIX operating system on RS/6000 servers in 7 different regions has been developed. By using all the modems connected to 7 RS/6000 servers in the regions and 4 RS/6000 servers at the Retirement Fund Information Operation center, this software transfers the requests received over these modems to the IBM 390 server with the help of CICS server

Establishment of WAN Infrastructure and AIX Operating Systems: AIX Operating System installations of RS/6000 servers in 7 different regions, CICS installations and configurations and moreover, for the connection of servers to the Retirement Fund Information Operation center through rental lines, Router equipment that will be installed in the regions ad the center itself has been configured.

AIX Operating System, CICS Support and Maintenance Services: for continuous operation of RS/6000 servers at the Retirement Fund Information Operation center and in the regions, technical assistance and maintenance services have been provided on the following issues:

• AIX Operating System,

• CICS Server,

• HTTP Server,

• DNS and Mail Server,

• Router.

Java Training and Assistance Services: Java and immersion trainings have been provided with the assistance of Object-People firm staff for the programmers of the Retirement Fund Information Operation center.

BAG-KUR OBJECT BASED PROGRAMMING AND JAVA TRAINING

Object based programming, Java and immersion trainings have been provided with the assistance of Object-People firm staff for the programmers of Bag-Kur Information Operation Center for the period of 20 days.

AIX UNIX Operating System installation and configurations,

IBM WebSphere Application Server installation and configurations,

IBM HTTP Server installation and configurations,

CICS Server installation and configurations,

Connection of AIX and OS/390 servers over SNA

DNS and Mail Server installation and configurations,

IBM Edge Server (dispatcher software enabling parallel working of more than one Web and Application Server computers) installation and configurations.

Providing planning and consultancy services required for the operating systems that have already been installed and planned to be installed in the bank, ensuring that additional requirements to be brought by the new installation are well understood by the bank staff,

Serving actively in the installation of new operating system and connected new software, main computer systems, giving necessary effort for the realization of installation without any problems in the shortest period of time,

After the installation of existing and new operating system and new software, auditing the system performance, ensuring the maximum efficiency from the system,

Providing practical information on issues such as system installation, system creation, adopting to bank circumstances for the system support group,

Planning the transformation operations where required and initiating the studies,

Ensuring proper running by auditing the circumstances regarding the information communication software required by the Bank's on-line branch automation,

Providing necessary system support for regular working of the communication control units,

Sustaining the preparation of standard reports by inspecting the General System efficiency, obtaining the maximum benefit from new software regarding this issue,

Defining the security standards and implement them by involving the security software that will be installed for the system security,

Providing relevant assistance and consultancy for the system operating group, performing the inspection of backup/restore system,

Providing comments on the hardware and software products that are planned to be purchased in the future and presenting alternatives,

Providing comments and suggestions on the application software/package that are developed at the center and/or that are planned to be purchased from outside,

Providing comments and suggestions in order for system hardware to be used in harmony with the software and by using all opportunities,

Intervening the daily problems that may be faced with in issues of system support and operation and find out solutions

Following tasks have been performed and delivered within timely frame with Deloitte – Touche for the project funded by the World Bank;

Realization of automation of central and local offices of the Agency

System design, analysis and detailing of all sub systems required by the Agency

Preparation of hardware and software tender document and terms of reference required by the Agency

Monitoring of the studies and providing controller services of the central and local offices of the Agency based on the tender results

Finding solutions for every type of technical problems that may be faced with in the computers of the bank and in connections with surrounding units and ensuring sustainable computer services of the bank

Providing necessary coordination among the Information Operation Center of the Bank, Firms and the users,

Providing suggestions for establishing Strategic Information Systems, Management Information System and Decision Support Systems for the Bank, transferring know-how,

Providing guidance on the issues of problem, change and configuration management for the technical staff of Information Operation Center,

Inspecting the General System efficiency, assisting in obtaining the maximum benefit regarding this issue,

Providing comments and suggestions in order for system hardware to be used in harmony with the software and by using all opportunities,

Providing comments on the hardware and software products that are planned to be purchased in the future and presenting alternatives,

Providing comments and suggestions on the application software/package that are developed at the center and/or that are planned to be purchased from outside.

Feasibility report has been prepared on the request of General Directorate regarding the identification of big size computer system requirements that are planned to be changed within the structure of Republic of Turkey State Railways Information Operation Center and central needs.

Sale of various hardware and software products to Cankaya Municipality Information Operation Center with IBM Turk Ltd. Co.,

Sale of Cankaya Municipality Data Base and Application Development products, providing services of training and technical assistance,

Realization of Computer Systems infrastructure (Cabling and local network installation)

The applications that will provide the integration between Health Automation System and the Banks have been designed and coded within the scope of this project.

With the help of this application, member firms of Unions of Importers and customs consultants can perform their membership operations for the Unions of Importers through Internet, can assign the consultant firms they authorize and can perform the Union of Importers approval operations of the declarations to be made during each importing operation and moreover, can make their all payment operations with their credit cards.

In this project, Oracle Application Server and Oracle Data Base have been used and following tasks developed based on layered J2EE have been performed within the application:

Integration with Vakifbank Credit Card System

Establishment of web services that will be used in the phase of integration of modules in which declarations will be made over the software being used by importer firm and customs consultant firms into the system

Establishment of html pages which will enable users make declaration entries through web media

Realization of Java application that will provide offline declaration entry operation without Internet connection with the help of Swing library and establishment of web services that will meet this software by the server.
