BAG-KUR HEALTH AUTOMATION SYSTEM

Following tasks have been performed within the scope of this project in which a system similar to Retirement Fund Health Automation System has been established also for Bag-Kur:

Modem Control Software Development: the software developed for Retirement Fund Health Project has been adopted for the infrastructure of Bag-Kur.

Establishment of WAN Infrastructure and AIX Operating Systems: AIX Operating System installations, CICS installations and configurations of Rs/6000 servers in 3 separate regions in Turkey have been performed. Moreover, for the connection of servers to the Bag-Kur Information Operation Center through rental lines, Router equipment that will be installed in the regions ad the center itself has been configured. Interconnection of the intranets of Retirement Fund and Bag-Kur over rental lines has been provided and the integration of health automation systems of these two organizations has been realized.

AIX Operating System, CICS Support and Maintenance Services: in order for 3 RS/6000 servers at Bag-Kur Information System Operation Center and 3 3 RS/6000 servers in the regions for 24 hours x 7 days, technical assistance and maintenance services have been provided on the following issues:

• AIX Operating System

• CICS Server

• HTTP Server

• DNS and Mail Server

• Router.

AIX Unix System Management Training: trainings on basic and advanced level unix information (shell commands, administrative applications, NFS, NIS, DNS, etc.), communication protocols (SNA, TCP/IP) have been provided for the Bag-Kur Information Operation Center system administrative representatives.

Java Training and Assistance Services: Java and immersion trainings have been provided with the assistance of Object-People firm staff for the programmers of Bag-Kur Information Operation Center.

IS-NET

For the evaluation of IS-NET, IBM WebSphere Commerce Suite, Application Server and IBM DB2 software have been installed, communication software (using named pipe) has been developed in order to provide the Commerce Suite payment connection to the Is Bank credit cards center.

BAĞ-KUR HEALTH AUTOMATION SYSTEM – JAVA BASED PACKAGE APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT

It has been redesigned as package software for the users who do not have the access to Internet application and Internet connection, the realization of inquires by directly connecting to Bag-Kur over an existing modem have been provided.

For this reason, modem receipt programmes at Bag-Kur Information Operation Center have been prepared; modem and serial port libraries have been prepared for Java based clients and have been integrated to the programme. Moreover, client application modem and serial port developed as Java based have been made utilizable. Every type of operation realized with an application running over Internet can be performed over a phone line by searching an access point (a server at a Bag-Kur Provincial, Regional or General Directorate) defined by the user.

BAG-KUR HEALTH AUTOMATION SYSTEM BANK INTEGRATION

The applications that will provide the integration between Health Automation System and the Banks have been designed and coded within the scope of this project.

TELSIM AND FINANSBANK WEBSPHERE APPLICATION SERVER AND EDGE SERVER INSTALLATIONS

WebSphere Application Server and Edge Server Installations on Solaris operating system have been performed in Telsim firm and Finansbank Information Operation Center.

UNDERSECRETARIAT OF FOREIGN TRADE, GENERAL DIRECTORATE OF IMPORT, UNIONS OF IMPORTERS MEMBERSHIP and DECLARATION ENTRY APPLICATION

With the help of this application, member firms of Unions of Importers and customs consultants can perform their membership operations for the Unions of Importers through Internet, can assign the consultant firms they authorize and can perform the Union of Importers approval operations of the declarations to be made during each importing operation and moreover, can make their all payment operations with their credit cards.

In this project, Oracle Application Server and Oracle Data Base have been used and following tasks developed based on layered J2EE have been performed within the application:

Integration with Vakifbank Credit Card System

Establishment of web services that will be used in the phase of integration of modules in which declarations will be made over the software being used by importer firm and customs consultant firms into the system

Establishment of html pages which will enable users make declaration entries through web media

Realization of Java application that will provide offline declaration entry operation without Internet connection with the help of Swing library and establishment of web services that will meet this software by the server

TURK TELEKOM CORP. – ILSIS PROJECT (1997 – 1998)

Analyst/Design studies of Accruement – Revenue project of Turk Telekom Corp. have been realized with IBM and coding studies have been carried on till the project has been stopped by Turk Telekom.

TURKISH PETROLEUM CORP.

Connection of Mainframe required by Turkish Petroleum Corp. to the local network and establishment of software development platform and supply and installation of software required for the integration of data base management system have been performed.
